The pub is really nice, everyone is friendly and a good atmosphere. Unfortunately we were slightly let down in that we ordered Sunday roasts and one for our dogs, we were asked how we wanted our beef and said pink, the beef was really chewy and almost to hard to cut, we left nearly all of it and feedback to the waitress. We got an apology but that was it, I would have expected a bit more given we couldn’t even feed our dogs half the beef. I did hear just after we ordered them tell the waitress only one beef left, so I assume we got the last of what was left. The rest of the meal was nice, just a bit of a let down to remedy this which was a shame.

Fabulous historic pub in a beautiful village setting. Very welcoming on arrival. Delicious Sunday roast options. We had 3 courses, all were very tasty and generous portions. When in the area again will definitely pop back.

Very friendly atmosphere. Great service and delicious food. The staff were very friendly and we felt comfortable and at home as soon as we walked in. The food was cooked beautifully, and deserts were amazing.

We had the best meal at the Crown Inn today - I was excited to go here as I heard they were dog friendly and do the best doggy roast. 6 of us went with one dog and had the most amazing Sunday lunch. The vegan options were brilliant and every single one of us was more than happy with our meal. The desserts were beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The service is brilliant and overall it’s a lovely place to go and dine. Our dog absolutely loved his roast. We will definitely be coming back here. I highly recommend this place. Thank you.
