About us

The Crown & Victoria Inn

The pub is situated in the village of Tintinhull, next to The National Trust Tintinhulll gardens, just off the A303. It is a beautiful 300 year old hamstone building with a large and attractive well-maintained garden.

The inn is under new ownership from April 2022. It was bought as an almost closed pub with no trade, specifically for the purposes of relocating a cookery school and events business - Pure Punjabi. However the new owner felt it a great shame to lose a pub and has attempted to keep it open on key days. The restaurant and bar is now operating on limited hours due to lack of staff and custom.

The bed & breakfast offering is viable and is open all year round, with 4 double en-suite bedrooms, which have all been refurbished and upgraded. The conservatory area has been internally extended and is available all year round as a weddings and event venue, as well as taking bookings for wakes, christenings and private group functions.

There is extensive secure parking, now gated, situated out of sight of the garden for guests and patrons.

A wonderful stay albeit very short me and my family had 3 rooms all of which very well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts are very welcoming and I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Yeovil

Spent a delightful overnight stay on our way down to Devon. Our wonderful host Surinder made us both feel so very welcome and took time to make sure we were fully briefed on the set up of the bed & breakfast (a recent Four in a Bed winner!) Surinder was keen to ensure that we had everything we needed, and indeed we did. We were impressed with the spacious car park, complete with electric gates, which meant we could relax about leaving our new car overnight! Our room was very comfortable, and it was clear, even to our untrained eye, that the new decor had been chosen with a great eye for detail and style. Our room offered - fast internet, coffee/tea facilities, roomy bathroom/shower, and a splendid view of the amazing garden which must be a delight in summer. We wished we had booked for a little longer stay - but another visit in Summer 2024 is definitely on the cards.

Great visit to this excellent B&B. Located in a lovely quiet village. Our hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. Lovely clean room in a beautiful old building perfect for a relaxing weekend. We would definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone

It’s a little out of the way but a gorgeous B&B with extremely helpful hosts. The room was extremely clean and well presented. The bed was terrific - comfortable & I slept without any disturbances at all. I would have no hesitation staying there again.

We stayed at the Crown and Victoria bed and breakfast last weekend. Surinder was so helpful with booking and whilst we was there. The room was lovely. Very clean, spacious and great value for the money. The coffee machine in the room was lovely. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and we loved meeting their dog, Mister. Very cute and friendly. Would definitely recommend and we will be booking when visiting family again.
