The Crown & Victoria Inn is situated in the heart of Tintinhull, Somerset. The pub has a lovely rural setting amidst spacious country gardens.
The Crown & Victoria is a family orientated pub. Mark Hilyard and his business partner Isabel Thomas took over the pub in December 2006. They have worked very hard over the past few years to offer excellent culinary delights at affordable prices.
In October 2008 their efforts were rewarded with an AA Rosette for the pubs quality of food that has been prepared with care, understanding and skill using good-value, wholesome, organic and free-range ingredients. All of the food that is used in the preparation of their carefully thought out menus is organic and sourced locally.
The pub is situated amidst a beautiful sweeping garden, of willow trees and scenic delights. You can often hear the call of many types of birds when sat relaxing in our beer garden.
We have extensive parking situated to the rear of the pub and nicely hidden out of sight from our pleasurable beer garden. We run an excellent fully stocked bar with all of your favourite beverages and alcohlic treats. We also have some local speciality and guest ales. We also have a function room that caters for parties of all sizes and occasions.
The pub is open 7 days a week. We are open in the mornings for coffee. Lunch is from 12.00 till 2.30 pm Monday to Sunday and evening meals from 6.30 pm to around 9.30 pm Monday to Saturday. We close in the afternoon for a couple of hours and re open around 5.30 pm Monday to Saturday.
On Sundays there is an array of exciting roasts to choose from as well as fresh fish dishes and vegetarian options. Roasts are served from 12.00 pm until 2.30 pm. Please view the menu's above to see what we are currently serving.
At the Crown & Victoria we take pride in our cooking. Every year since October 2008 we have attained the national coveted AA Rosette for the quality of our food. All the products that we use in the restaurant are local and is free range/organic either reared on local farms or freshly caught from the sea. We also feature for the second year running in the Michellin eating Out in Pubs Guide.
