Bad value for money, quality of the food is equivalent to Iceland cooked meals. Weirdly not dog friendly for a country pub. Much better options in the area for food and drinks like the red lion just down the road.
Lovely vibes here. Just celebrated my mums birthday and my dad's retirement. Staff are truly wonderful and the food was fantastic. We will be back!. Thank you all for a fabulous evening. 💕
Lovely pub with lovely staff. The atmosphere is very homely and the food is home cooked, fresh and delicious. My friend loved having lunch and the left overs were packed for home, which was very thoughtful and lovely considering the present situation with living crisis cost. Desert was mouth-watering and considering it was freshly home made, it was served very quick. Certainly will return there. (The outside area is lovely.)
Roast was amazing! Very homey, Lots of homemade dishes, pies, ect ect. Puddings were great too Very rustic 🥰 And got a fantastic photo of my Mamgu and dad il treasure for a long time.
