Great local friendly pub, great beers and bar snacks, cobs, samosas and hot pork sandwiches. Always made welcome.
Very nice, cosy pub and we had yummy cheese and salad cobs.
Went in there today. First time. Great atmosphere and beer. The pig on the wall pint is quality. Samosas and pork pie were excellent.
Two visits in two days. First on Thursday for the end of month quiz which is very well run and presented. Then popped in again on Friday for a couple of pints. Sampled a known fave Pig on the Wall and a pint of Kinver Lunar Landing (confess to having for the name but a very nice pint). Was going to have a cob but swapped to a delicious hot pork sandwich (with gravy, apple sauce and stuffing!) The pork pies are substantial and tasty. And at £4.50 for both a very fair price. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, you can even take your dog.
