Didn't try food but nice quiet village pub.
Visited this pub recently, & decided to take my young daughter to the baby change prior to getting drinks, however I was totally taken back that they didn’t have any baby change, & not even a disabled toilet! When asking the bartender she was absolutely rude, with no apologies! So, basically avoid the place if you have young children needing baby change facilities, or in need of disabled toilet!
My grandparents, Lou and Vera Bradshaw, ran this pub in the 70's. before they retired in 1976. My brother, sister in law, nephew, my daughter and I popped in to visit on Sunday afternoon for a drink, and it still felt the same as it did when Mamma and Grandpa were there. It was lovely chatting to the landlady and I hope we get back soon to visit again.
Basic pub with decent selection of ales, lagers and ciders. No food options. Good place to meet up. Helped by plenty of outdoor seating.
Good Pub! Never ate here! Beer Prices I find as a lot of Pubs now Pricy! Rock on Witherspoons, yes I know it’s a different Atmosphere but Wow There Prices & Quality! Amazing!
