Good prices. Was very quiet at Sunday lunchtime which was surprising at first. The quiet environment suited us. The service was generally to a good standard, friendly and helpful. The food quality was disappointing. Mediocre at best Roast beef was tough. Vegetarian gravy like water. No more available, so had to eat nut roast meal without gravy. Mashed potato was dry, with a skin/crust Cauliflower very over cooked. It's only fair to point out that the nut roast was delicious, so good I would have been more than happy to eat it on Christmas day. Next time we would try somewhere else at a similar price, or pay more elsewhere. For the price you can't expect top quality gourmet food, but you should be able to expect better than this.
Thank you Nancy and Leah for your splendid service. We were a large group and were there to celebrate Christmas and mostly chose the festive menu which is a great deal for 3 courses. The food portions were generous, tasted great and arrived in plenty of time. The seating area was lovely and the whole restaurant looked very festive for the Christmas season. Thanks once again for making our experience so relaxed and enjoyable.
Went with friends, and its easy to get to. The food and atmosphere is really good, clean, plenty of space and good for kids. Beth and Chris knew how to greet and treat. Well done guys. Thanks.
Went for my mum's birthday I took a cake with us and asked the lady behind the desk if they would bring it out and light it to which she said yes. After the meal we asked another lady if they could bring out the cake she said no you have to do it yourself and light the candles yourself and bring out the cake yourself. I tried to find a lighter but had no luck and she just left the cake out on the side for my mum to see. None of my family smoke so had no luck with a lighter so we had to unfortunately leave the cake and will have to do it another day. If we were told at the start we had to do it ourselves we could have worked something out quickly but we were told yes so it is very disappointing. The food was okay as much as you expect from a hungry horse and our main server was lovely but just a shame we got told one thing and then got denied it when we needed it
Food was quick and well cooked. Staff were helpful and polite. There are toilets in the building and parking is free in their own car park. The prices are reasonable, but they also run offer deals on various days.
