Just had 3 course lunch from the Christmas menu, with two friends, and it was all fantastic. I had the roast duck for main course, which was the best roast duck I've had anywhere! All faultless. And despite being crazily busy, the service was spot on. Well done all. Will definitely return.
Just had a fabulous meal with three colleagues. All had starters and mains and all eight plates were empty after we'd finished! Great selection of food and drinks, definitely something for everyone. Portions are very generous too so no need to worry about larger appetites! Staff were super friendly and attentive as well. Very reasonably priced too! Overall and excellent experience, will definitely return!
Visited for family anniversary. Booking is easily done with quick confirmation and availability. Ample free parking bonus! Restaurant itself was beyond expectation cosy, warm inviting with a rustic charm and atmosphere. Promoting local produce. Extremely helpful staff and varied menu. Cuisine was faultless (credit to their kitchen staff). If, if I could find any criticism, it is prices. For the quality you receive, you'd expect to pay a lot lot more. For the experience, ambience, the value for money is exceptional.. I defy you anywhere to get that level of service for so little. I'd have happily paid twice the price. If this place doesn't have a Michelin star.. I don't know why cause they deserve one. A genuine gem to find and highly recommend a visit!..

I recently visited the pub restaurant and had a wonderful experience despite the initial wait due to the busy bank holiday crowd. Once I placed my order, the food arrived in about half an hour. I opted for the belly of pork and it was cooked to perfection. The dish came accompanied by a variety of vegetables, creamy potato mash, and an absolutely incredible sauce that enhanced the flavors. I was truly impressed by the high quality and amazing taste of the food, not to mention the generous portion size. The prices were quite reasonable for the excellent dining experience I had. Overall, it was a delightful visit and I would highly recommend trying out their offerings.
