Our Rosette awarded seafood-inspired menu and 7 newly refurbished bed and breakfast rooms make us an inviting home away from home.
Four-legged friends are made as equally welcome as two-legged ones, with water bowls and biscuit treats available in the front bar and a part of the restaurant too.
Our bar and restaurant are wheelchair accessible and we have an accessible toilet downstairs too.

Just called in for a quick pint after a walk on the beach. Very welcoming, and happy to give me a taster of a couple of the local brews!
We just popped in today at lunchtime for a drink, but as soon as we saw the roast dinner, we decided to stay for food. Although we hadn't booked, & it was very busy, a table was made available for us. The staff are amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The roast dinner was the best we have had, just perfect.
An excellent pub, with really outstanding, well priced food. Went as a family for Sunday lunch and felt it was fantastic value for money - you will leave feeling very very happy, having eaten the most perfect food, in a very relaxed environment and beautiful location. Perfection, thank you, we will be back… again and again
One evening we decided to go to this charming place to have a drink. We sat under an umbrella outside. The smell coming from this restaurant was amazing. Booking a table for the next day was no problem. They have a site, and we did it online. Our dinner was very delicious! As a starter, we had crabs. As a main course, we ordered linguini, octopus, John Dory fish, and fish and chips. I was impressed! Since I know how to cook seafood (it’s very easy to overcook), I wasn’t sure that I would like octopus. The taste exceeded my expectations. It was cooked for perfection. For dessert, we ordered white chocolate cheese cake and apple, rhubarb, and ginger crumble. Wow, it was something special ! It's not just "nice." It was delicious.
We went last Tuesday and were very impressed - everything was delightful. The food was superb (yes, the pancake) and the service great. A very friendly place with nice ambience. So of course we had to go again last night; no change except the seafood linguine was even better than the pancake and the rice pudding incredible. I'm guessing Michelin have not yet visited. Just one point; not everyone likes yapping dogs in a restaurant. Can't wait to come back next year, especially now we know how to find the place and get back in the dark! Oh, and the rolling historical photographs are fascinating. Thank you for two great evenings.
