We’re just a 4-minute drive from junction 8 on the M1. Head north-west on the A414 then at the roundabout, take the second exit onto Breakspear Way/A414. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto St Albans Road/A414 and turn right onto Leverstock Green Road. Go through three roundabouts and you’ll find us on the left.

We had bottomless brunch which was really nice. I had the vegetarian breakfast and the sausages were really tasty, my husband had the full English and he really liked it. The service was prompt and friendly… we bought our dog with us and he was given a bowl of water , lots of fuss and offered treats. The Crabtree is my favourite pub in Hemel Hempstead. We’ll be back again soon!
Waited 50 minutes between courses despite booking and even pre-ordering from the festive menu! No service whatsoever, I had to mention the wait to the staff, they didn’t notice. They did offer a free drink but then didn’t speak to us again after that really! Quite disappointing for a Christmas meal, food was nothing special at all.
Recently renovated, The Crabtree has great decor and a lovely feel. 7 of us had Sunday lunch and it was remarkably good value and the food was great. Service was excellent and we will be returning on a regular basis. Well done Dave and the team.
Had Sunday lunch with the family. The service was impeccable and the whole place had a very pleasant atmosphere. We ordered a mixed grill, Hunter Chicken and two turkey roasts. The food arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection. It was the best mixed grill I've had at a restaurant in a long time. We will definitely be eating there again. Full marks to the chef and all the staff working there.
Nice food we had a fixed menu meal which was £9.99 for 3 lunch courses . Inside and outside seating available. Order food at the bar or via the app. They also offer a takeaway service.
