As our local pub for the last 20yrs we’ve seen it swap hands a few times. Chris & Neringa have done an amazing job turning this pub around. It’s garden is fabulous in the summer for kids, and the seating area outside is covered & plenty of heaters to keep you warm in the wet & colder months. This is 2 of our favourite meals hot shot parmo & the spicy chicken skewers which are around £15 each, we add an extra of the onions rings which are always so light & crispy at £3.50. No photo of it, but sticky toffee pudding is delicious and if you want a lighter pudding the rhubarb & custard ice cream is lush on its own 🤪
Although a lot of work has been done to make the twig look amazing inside and out. The service isn't great. This has been my local for 12 years, I've been 5 times since it reopened and each time been taken to a table, given a drink and forgotten about. It's then been hard work catching someone to take our food order. It's all restaurant inside now, no separate bar so there's times we've ended up with a table full of loud lads drinking next to us. Not great not being able to chat over the noise. The menu hasn't changed since the new management took over. We used to eat here at least twice a month but will now find somewhere new.
It's been a while since our last visit to ' the twig' it has improved beyond all recognition. The menu has a good varied choice. Food is excellent well prepared and presented. Staff are attentive and friendly. I would definitely put this as a must go to. We will definitely be returning. Well done to all involved
What a lovely bar this was!! 😍 Amazing food, great service, lovely interior and exterior... Outdoor heaters and comfy little snugs around the place too, very nice! 😁👌 Good to come with friends and family, also an outdoor play area to keep the kids busy!!! Beautiful food. A family favourite place to eat, we pre order our dishes. Food is always beautiful! Highly recommend
