Great food with good choice on menu to cater for most tastes. Excellent puddings. Really friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere but attentive to customers. Highly recommended.

Lovely deep steak pie literally crammed with chunks of beef. Tasty gravy home made gravy. Plenty of fresh veg - cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, broccoli. Loads of roasties/chips again home made. Very nice to have fresh veg served on what was a weekday lunchtime outside of season/ school hols. All good in a nice old pub.

Brilliant Sunday lunch for 4. Fast service good food and generous helpings. The staff were friendly and helpful. Best to ring ahead and book a table because it is popular.
