Stopped in on a Saturday night for a bar meal food was excellent and well priced with brilliant service Thanks
Didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms. Went for lunch. Staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Lovely beer garden at the rear but it's quite near the main road so a little noisy.
The food. They don't even mention that the chips are skinned, the trios of sausages arent even three sausages its all the same. The food overall was quick and seemed to be just warmed up, the place itself is alright but it's overall vibe isn't so warmly.
Start with a positive - we were able to bring our dog in. We had two beef Sunday roasts. The beef was as tough as a leather, the Yorkshire pudding was burnt and somehow undercooked at the same time, the stuffing balls were completely cold, the mash and suede had been scooped on with an ice cream scoop, the gravy was pretty much see through and the whole thing completely lacked any flavour. I genuinely felt like I was back in education having a school dinner. Honestly, I would say this is, hands down the worst Sunday roast I’ve ever had. To top it off, I was so concerned that I didn’t even offer my dog the beef I had left.
Excellent weekend. Lovely staff who all go above and beyond. Sue the owner was amazing. Our evening meal was lovely and breakfast was the best we have ever had. Will definitely come back. Thanks to Sue and all the lovely staff made our weekend.
