Unfortunately, the hot chocolate was far too frothy, with what felt like a full third of the beverage as just foam, the consistency was all off too, the drink being far too watery and thin, which sorely compromised the richness and lost all chocolateiness in what one would hope would have a fair bit. The temperature was poor, the drink being quite lukewarm. 2/10
Love it! Delicious food, good service, and a beautiful atmosphere. The waitress came to ask if we were ready for our dessert before serving it even though we ordered it together with the meal. I was impressed! The place is so busy that I was expecting to receive everything we ordered in one go. We visited on two occasions. Even though there were no available tables and we were contemplating on leaving, we were shown to a table where the waitress quickly cleaned and prepared the space for us. Everyone was nice, smiling, attentive, patient, and helpful. We missed the breakfast cut off (12 noon) on our second visit. However, after asking if we can still get something similar, the waiter pointed to a section of the menu where we can order breakfast (just with chips instead of hash browns) until 5 pm. That was very helpful of him. I loved the interior as well. We got some beautiful views of the boats and the water too. If you sit by the window, you can also enjoy stunning views of the city. My only recommendation would be to label the toilets a bit more clearly. It was a bit confusing which one of all the doors is the toilets (looking from afar and trying to figure out which way to go). I would definitely go there again.
One of the more expensive spoons. Although still representing value for money. Good location being next to ferry port, train station and the water. Undercooked chips. Lots of seating inside and out.
One of the nicer JD Wetherspoons because of the location and the atmosphere. Some inside seating has nice views across the harbour and the outside seating is great on a hot day. Menu is the usual fare , drinks are reasonably priced and service here via the app is usually prompt . Can be quite busy but we've always managed to find a seat.
Breakfast deal is great. Ordered the most simple Egg and Cheese Muffin with unlimited tea or coffee. The muffin is excellent 😋Afternoon deal is of good price with refill on coffee / tea. Spacious and many tables. Place order via QR code make the process seamlessly. Food quality is average
