The medieval town of Lostwithiel provides the perfect location for a short break with beautiful countryside on the doorstep, and plenty to do nearby. Antiques shops and regular fairs have made Lostwithiel the antiques capital of Cornwall and it is one of the most vibrant and lively communities in the county.
Independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as parks and riverside walks are all within walking distance. Restormel castle, only a 15 minute walk away is well worth a visit. Conveniently situated on the A390 and close to the railway station, it is ideally located for business trips or leisure breaks in Cornwall.
The world renowned Eden Project, Lanhydrock House (the most popular National Trust property in the County) and quaint fishing ports at Fowey, Looe and Polperro are all less than 30 minutes away.
We provide a home-made full Cornish breakfast for guests staying with us and we serve bar food, during the day.

We loved this place. Real ales in the pub and comfortable creaky characterful rooms. Great staff
Nice pub, bonus was Kev's singing, solo with his guitar! Didnt stay so cant comment on rooms.
lovely typical pub bar. This dinner time has live music, very easy listening with singer having very pleasant voice. Staff attentive and friendly. Pub serves pub food which although not tried looks fine.
We came to eat at the pub. Overpriced, low quality food. Ordered 2 tiny baguettes for £12 total with potato crisps and they were served cold, unseasoned and stale. The ham and cheese was just that -- slices of ham with shredded cheese falling out. And the tuna mayo was missing any mayo, very dry. The chips were £3.50 for half a little bowl and each cup of tea was £2. Do not go here for the food under any circumstances. Edit: I asked if the sandwiches were supposed to be hot or cold, and I was told they were served cold. I felt like complaining would not have made a difference. On the bright side, the tea was okay.
Parking is away from the venue, but only a short walk. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Feel safe as a single female to enter. Locals are friendly and have a good laugh. Rooms need a small refresh (like a coat of paint, nothing more), but are comfy, well appointed and clean.
