Very dated room was not very good flys squash on walls ,damp areas, windows not cleaned , screws on carpet tread raised catch your skin, shower doors leak on floor, basin cracked plus several tiles cracked not a very good experience. Needs redecorating area up the stairs full off fag butts, walk ways uncleaned We have stayed there several times before not a fault in the past but a chain as taken over not very good will not be staying again unless rooms are better , Staff are very very good there hands tried, can not fault the staff
Called in for a snack on the way up the hill from Polperro. The sandwiches are a meal on their own, very well filled with a helping of coleslaw and a handful of crisps. Thoroughly enjoyable. Cannot say about the rooms as we were day trippers.
Lovely place, amazing accommodation, very cozy, nice and tidy! Great drinks and food available. I strongly recommend the Cajun chicken and the Kentucky burger if available (they're on the specials menu). Food comes in big portions for a really good price.
Did not stay here but came for a meal. Service can be a bit slow as it is very busy at times but the food is great. We had the fish cakes on the specials board and the salt and pepper squid. Both meals were fantastic- very tasty. Beer and wine to complement the meal was really good.
I stopped for food. I had the pie of the day which was Steak and Ale. The pie was good quality, nice chunks of meat. The mash was good, tasted nice and buttery. It would have been nice if the onion rings were homemade. Apart from that, it’s a nice pub with nice food.
