For 150 years the Cornubia has stood within the heart of Hayle. The building is grade two listed and was built by local brewer Christopher Ellis in 1867 and has hosted many formal functions in its history, including shareholder assemblies for the Cornish Copper Company, public meetings, official dinners, public sales and actions. Ross Poldark may have once crossed the threshold! (We all hope he's real, don't we?!).
Just played a gig here, we had a great night landlady and all the staff were lovely, a great atmosphere immediately as you walk in,a super place. I didn't eat here,but there were lots of people that had so that's a good advert if ever I saw one !!
Me and my girlfriend came to stay for a weekend in Hayle and stopped in for a drink and really enjoyed our visit. Phoebe and chris was really welcoming and looked after us well, we even ended up staying for their pub quiz. Highly recommended if you are passing the area.
Absolutely amazing place! Friendly staff and a good night out. Phoebe is brilliant and smashes her job day in day out, polite and great to talk to. Need to employ more Phoebes
Good food, great atmosphere. Always love being served by Phoebe. Such a natural behind the bar. Lovely with the customers, great listening ear. Watch this space this girls gonna be running the place one day ❤️
Just great! Friendly and helpful service from initial call to check-in from Jordan, the room (and large bathroom) was superb, clean and really good value for money, and everything just worked. I was pleasantly surprised at their offering for the rate and had a thoroughly relaxing night's sleep. I would definitely return if I am in the area :-)

Situated between two popular holiday parks in Hayle, Cornwall. We have a great blend of tourists and locals alike. Children and dogs are welcome. Great beer on offer and very tasty homemade pub grub served everyday.
