Tucked away on Temple Street in the heart of Bristol is the city’s best kept secret and much loved Real Ale house, The Cornubia.
The Cornubia boasts an impressive selection of Real Ales and offers up to 8 different choices from all around the UK on any given day.
Included in our 8 Real Ales on offer, we have our very own bespoke seasonal beer ‘Cornubia’ which is brewed for us by local brewers and delivers a unique taste for each season.
We are very passionate about our Real Ales and are one of only 4 ’Society Of Independent Brewers Association‘ pubs in the Bristol Area.
We also sell up to 5 ciders from South West breweries as well as the usual selection of draught and bottled beers, lagers, wines and spirits you would expect from your favourite public house.
As well as our fine drinks selection, we also cater for our hungry guests with our choice of traditional Cornish Pasties and hand-made pork pies with a wide selection of chutneys and pickles – not to mention our famous home-made fiery pickled eggs – the ones that bite back!
All of which can be enjoyed in our beautiful secluded beer garden with the added bonus of our frequent BBQ’s – weather permitting!
We are a ‘dog friendly’ pub and are rather fond of our own pets which include our three lovely dogs – Bella and Saffy and the new family member Lucky, our turtles.

Great little pub in the tradition of real pubs. Visited here to catch up with friends in an atmosphere where you can hear each other. Bar staff were great too. Check the ceiling for an incredible array of beer mats.
Found this pub after Googling real ale pubs - what a great find! A proper old style establishment serving a good selection of ales. Had a lovely afternoon and the Manager, Niall was a great host. Will definitely return.
This is a delightful find and my favourite pub near Bristol Temple Meads station. Tucked away from a busy street, the pub garden is full of colourful lighting and bordered with a wide variety of foliage. The staff are super friendly and the inside is as cosy as the folks behind the bar. With the size of the place, it's not surprising that accessibility is an issue but it does mean I can't give 5*. This is a proper gem and, if you're heading into the centre from the station, make sure you drop by for a drop or two!
Good beer selection fast and friendly service. Good place to watch sports.
Great pub with the best ale I've had for a long time (see pic), a little hidden out of the way but definitely worth finding.
