I have just been to see family in Gunnislake , I stayed at here one night the family are very hospitable & the room are a good size very happy with what I paid an I’ll be staying here again for sure . Just want to say thank you to Steve because he was one I seen most of the time nice bloke 👌🏻
This family run hotel and bar has good bedrooms one of which is a family room. The owner is very hospitable and the breakfast is excellent. I will stay here again when I visit my relatives that live in the village.
Comfortable and clean family run pub, with a spacious room. The care and attention from Steve and Sue was second to none, from a great gluten free menu, to cooking me a pie to eat cold on the train home. Worth a night in the bar to talk to the brilliant locals ("Oh, I'm not from round here, I'm from Calstock [2 miles away])!
For £39 plus £7-50 each for breakfast you don't expect the Ritz but what you get is a very friendly welcome, good pub food, comfortable beds, lovely full English breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
A typical "local"pub. Friendly atmosphere, good bunch of local people at the bar. Friendly landlord, nice open fire. Not tried anything but the menu looks great. I'll be back 👍.
