Met some people for a business meeting around 4PM. The location is quite tricky and hard to find if you follow the map. However, if you ask around for the Lloyds tower they will be able to guide you easily as the bar is underneath the tower. Ordered an English breakfast tea. It tends to get very busy later in the day as it gets flooded with people. Not great for a business meeting after a certain time. But definitely to consider prior to 5PM
Nice meal with a good choice. Well prepared and a reasonable price for the centre of london. The choice of being able to sit outside under the building or out in the sunshine. Or alternatively inside. It was a very hot day so sitting inside was the coolest option. Enjoyed the food and would recommend it highly.
Too good despite being busy all the time. Located just below Lloyd's of London, a place for insurance industry people related to Lloyd's of London to chat, discuss, negotiate and unwind. Reasonable price and good service. They have open place in summer times which is a fun.
I pass this place all the time as I work nearby and go to leadenhall market often. It looks great and the BBQ in the summer is a good touch but I had to say I was expecting more. The tables were very cheap construction inside so straight away didn't feel like the price one the menu was reflective of the place. The steak I had was very small size and again for the price it was not impressive. Service was good but overall I don't think I'll come back in a hurry, unless someone else is paying.
