Been to a number of this chain of bar/restaurants. Good range of beer on tap plus the food is consistently good and well priced. Lovely casual and easy atmosphere in all the lounges.
I have been coming to Lounges and specifically Cordero for a couple of years now. I didn’t realise I hadn’t left a review! Comparing the experience to Wetherspoons feels like an insult but it isn’t because it has the same positives but improves on everything. The experience is efficient and fast, with really good quality food every time that is served by really friendly and professional staff. I have never had to wait long, never had an issue with food or drink and never had any other concerns of any kind. You know exactly what you’re getting and the consistency is amazing not only here but actually across the brand as I’ve been to multiple other Lounges and had the same perfect experience. It is also really not at all expensive and I am amazed at their attention to details with allergies. They have a massive Gluten Free menu which for me as a coeliac is very helpful when eating out can be a challenge. I’m certain I will be coming here for years to come :)
Would have given no stars if possible. the beef burger was so badly burnt that you couldn't eat it, then the replacement was just the same burger with the burnt part scraped off. Avoid this place. See pictures first burger and the replacement which was already cut (same burger)
This place turned out to be an absolute find! Our first time in Frome, and we were looking for somewhere to have lunch when we found the Cordero Lounge. Very impressive too, the decor is amazing, retro steam punk?, if that's a thing? If not, I'm not sure how to categorise it, you decide. Staff were lovely, very good coffee and even better hot food, the brunch was very tasty. We will certainly be going back when in Frome again, which could be quite soon as it has much to offer.
Such friendly staff. Really enjoyed the tapas and the sticky toffee was delicious. Thank you for making a Welsh girl welcome :-)
