The Copper Beech is ideally situated at Longwater Retail Park in Costessey just off the busy A47 to Norwich. Mike, Claire and the team offer a warm welcome to all the family with fabulous service. We serve great pub food all day and are the perfect place to have a home cooked meal without the hard work. There's no need to book, just turn up when you fancy trying one of our delicious dishes, cask ales or wines. We welcome all the family and have an indoor and outdoor children’s play area, somewhere to keep the children entertained whilst you sit back and relax. We popped in for a meal and drink. I had the steak meal deal for £13.49 and went up to a large wine for an additional £1. My husband had the carvery, but as prices have gone up its quiet expensive to have the full works. Large carvery, additional cost for pigs in blankets, roll of stuffing and extra yorkshires for £14. We then had a brownie sundae which was very yummy. Could have done with bit more brownie as more cream and marshmallows but still enjoyable. Visited today 20/1/24 and Scott was friendly. Clean environment. Bar staff polite and approachable. Music playing in the back ground.
My group said the meat for Christmas carvery was very succulent and tender. 2 of them said its the best Christmas office lunch they've had. I never struggle to eat a dessert. Loved the praline tart. It was was really good.
We was a group of 32 people mostly elderly we had the back room so we could all sit together On arrival we was greeted and shown to tables they was looking very festive We had a young lady who was very polite helpful with helping our residents nothing was to much trouble for this young lady she is certainly a credit to your restaurant. The young men who brought the starters and desserts also polite and friendly, We had lovely meals and everyone enjoyed themselves We also want to thank rest of staff especially those we do not see We all looking forward to our next visit
After having a bad carvery here a few weeks ago and leaving a bad review, the manger emailed me a free meal for 2. Today I decided to use this offer! Totally different experience, lovely girl behind the bar serving. Decided to have THE ULTIMATE SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN BURGER this time. It was really nice food so I thought it was only fair to write a positive review! Thankyou for the offer and changing my opinion
Very spacious pub with a nice variety of offerings among carvery, burgers, stakes and cod and chips. There is plenty, and free of charge, parking space and the service is very welcoming and fast. There is a menu for kids with many different dishes. The three Stars are because the cod and the cowboy burger was overcooked.
