Housed in the Swan at Streatley, Coppa Club provides a home away from home for locals to make their own.
Located right on the riverbank and open all day until late, our newest club is the perfect space to transition easily from work to play. With a 380-cover restaurant, central bar, library, lounge spaces, fireplaces, event rooms and a private dining room, Coppa Club Streatley is the perfect location to relax, unwind or entertain, whatever the occasion. Outside, landscaped gardens and a large riverside terrace enclosed by a glass structure provide stunning views across the Thames, and alfresco dining all year round.
My sister and I visited Coppa Club (Streatley) last Sunday for our final dinner together after her weekend visit from Spain. Initially, the entrance experience was positive with a pleasant lady. However, we waited for 10 minutes without anyone taking our order, feeling somewhat neglected. We had to actively seek out the waiters to place our order and later for our drinks, too. Disappointingly, the 100oz Rib Eye Steak and pizza arrived nearly cold, with only the chips being hot. Unwilling to pay £35 for a cold steak, we sent it back. The waitress claimed it hadn't been sitting for long, but conceded it was cold when touched. The replacement steak arrived hot but overcooked, as I had ordered it medium. Reluctantly, I didn't send it back since I was ashamed to do it again, and hungry! To our dismay, while finishing the pizza, we discovered not one but two hairs!! Expressing our dissatisfaction, the waiter offered to deduct the pizza cost. However, the overall experience ruined our attempt to create a memorable last dinner together, as we had hoped for better quality and enjoyment from an expensive meal at Coppa Club.
Spacious with pleasant atmosphere and view over the Thames. Gluten free options and a few plant based options (burger, pizza or the baked aubergine which was fine, slightly tough in parts and with too much runny pretend cream cheese). A couple of Renegade beers on offer (lager or stout). Large car park but was nearly full on a Sunday. Mid price but probably worth it for the views.
Such a treat for our family to enjoy a delicious brunch, in the Coppa Club Streatley, with a gorgeous river view and within the beautiful restaurant setting. Nina was a superb waitress and delivered everything in good time and with a friendly smile. We look forward to our next visit!
Excellent food, late lunch. Portions slightly small for price. Staff friendly, easy booking on line. Lovely setting overlooking River Thames at Streatley, even in very rainy conditions in November. Only 1 negative comment, wife's coffee " Luke Warm" ,she had the same experience at Henley Coppa Club so machine needs turning up! My tea was fine. Tea bag in a cup ,would have expected a tea pot in a place like this but this seems to be normal these days.
Absolutely perfect setting to round a day out in London on. Looking for a spot of food on the way home we came across the Coppa Club in Streatley. A stunning, quintessential town located on the banks of the Thames. With a great deck that overlooks the river it’s a fantastic place to enjoy some food and fizz!! Greg our server was brilliant. Attentive but not over bearing. The food was perfect and the company even better! Well worth a visit. We shall be back!!
