Andy went out of his way to make something not on buffet as he is a fuzzy eater and didn’t even charge me. Great pub and lovely staff. Good old English pub, can’t beat it.
We used the lounge for a 50th and the staff were so accommodating Andy and Katie made us and all our guests feel so welcome would definitely recommend
Best pub in England. Roast potatoes and a cheese board for customers. Plus the landlord, Andrew Gadsby is a really cool guy and also easy on the eye.
A visitor to the Connie for probably 30 of my 36 years with my Dad, they recently hosted his Celebration of Life party on his passing. We couldn't have been happier - Andy & Katie were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond. The bar team were fantastic aswell, always with a smile and kind words, and the whole service made a difficult time a lot easier. Thank you, to each and every one of the staff for your love & light. As a side note, Andys pizzas and freshly made burgers really are to die for!!!
We had a wonderful family Holy Communion event here. The room was perfect size, with doors opening up on the garden. The management were so welcoming and helpful.
