Sunday lunch was amazing, you get a choice of 2 or 3 meats. We had roast sirloin and roast chicken breast with a huge selection of vegetables. The wine was perfect and we also managed to share a desert (the best apple crumble!). Service was also really good, everyone was really attentive and friendly. 100% will be back again, can’t wait!

We had a voucher for a 3 course meal and the portions are really generous! Had to bring my pud home. The staff are very friendly, the decor and atmosphere are great and the food is delicious. No complaints here!

Based upon our first visit, a great place for couples or a quiet night. I can't put my finger on it, but it doesn't deserve all 5 stars (yet). Maybe it was the atmosphere, or clinical/professional approach by staff that I'm not used to? (We like a chat and banter). Or the quiet evening? Perhaps the extra few ££'s compared to similar restaurants within a mile or two.. I'm not sure. It's definitely worth a visit, even if to shoot me down or confirm my thoughts. Two courses, two people with bottle of wine and a beer was around £120 including service charge, ?something I detest - I'll decide what to offer based upon the difference between expected service and exceptional service!!!) Staff were polite, the food was nice as are the surroundings, but at a premium price... scuffs, mark's, stained cutlery (loud / poor quality audio /speakers) all seem minor but equally easily curable. We will go back, but that may run the risk of me being slightly more critical over what are simple fixes.

This place was great. I'd highly recommend it. It's a great place, it's got a casual atmosphere, and prices to match, but the food is way better than the prices would have you think. To start I had a pea and ham soup, which was delicious, and the sticky toffee pudding for desert was really lovely, with a generous amount of sauce. I had it without the vanilla ice cream and it was really nice, one of the better that I've had recently. The best bit however was of course the main; the beehive burger, which has Gruyere, chorizo and onion relish. It was absolutely fantastic, although these can all be strong flavours, it was really well balanced and nothing was too overpowering or superfluous. There is an option to 'upgrade' from skinny chips to chunky chips, but I tried both (as a friend upgraded and I didn't) - Honestly, I usually prefer chunky chips but the skinny fries were much nicer. Mine were fluffier and had a much nicer potato flavour. Save the money and get the skinny ones. All in all I'd really recommend. The food is delicious and the prices are fantastic for the quality. The only downside is that I live in Wales. Oh well.
