The Compasses is a friendly village pub with a good selection of Cask Ales, Traditional Pub Food, relaxing lounge and bar with open log fire. It has a pool room, large garden and car park with disabled parking and disabled entrance to the front of the building.

A warm reception. Quality food and beer. I had the gammon and eggs which was cooked perfectly for me. The chips are big and crunchy and seem to be home cooked. Great.

Excellent quality dining in a well lit, comfortable and very clean environment. There is a clear attention to detail at this establishment. Staff were attentive and friendly, prices very fair with plenty of parking. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent - the king prawn starter was absolutely amazing. The menu was big with lots of choice and I was happy with all 3 choices I went for. Special mention to the staff who were friendly and attentive too. I would definitely return.

An excellent meal!! My wife and I went for dinner last night, it was excellent! The food was great, and a menu that’s a bit different to anywhere else locally. The staff were great and the social distancing measures were really good - we both felt super safe.
