Expecting a proper pub experience but what I got was no service at the bar at 11.30 am, people queuing up. Got my pint, no apology for the 10 min wait. Sat in the back of the pub fir peace and quiet got blaring music to kitchen staff taste.
Food was good. The ex wife walked out apparently my jokes have not got any funnier over time.
A nice pub to have some good food! A friend and I came on Steak Club Tuesday and got a steak. Great steak and good price :)
We had brunch here, large and airy pub with many different areas to choose from. Food very good and hot and quick..Odd that there was no water jug on bar though you can request glass of water.
Lovely hushed little pub. Visited for a breakfast stop after a long road journey. Service was excellent. Food wasn't to my taste but was prepared well and arrived in a reasonable time. Self service coffee with refill available. Would definitely return and try something else. Parking is as to be expected in a small town, time limited but found ourselves a 2 hour free space just a stones throw from the pub itself.
