Brilliant. Proper old pub. No stupid gimmicky spot lights, mirrors, etc. An old style Cornish pub trading since the 1700's.... Probably got the same ghost landlord managing his locals. You will Not find this gem without a search... It's a locals pub... Protected by local discretion. It neither wants nor needs modernisation. It took a while to locate this pub which I hope to make my local. When we first walked in, all eyes on the door, then 'everyone' of the 9 bods at the bar said Hello. In a way I regret praising it toooo much in case it becomes popular..& gets dragged up to date... Which would Kill it's charm. Didn't get chance to try the menu but will do so within the next few weeks. Prices seem Down to Earth. No Juis.... Just Good Honest Food.
