My husband went for a quiet drink, someone in the pub said they didn’t want him there, so he was told to leave. He had done nothing wrong, has never caused an issue before and there is no reason he shouldn’t have been there. The singer who was on doesn’t like my husband. We go to a lot of their gigs though as we’re friends with other band members and have always sat to one side quietly. We enjoy the band. We have just as much right to attend our local venues as other people do and we have attended gig nights here often. The staff members had absolutely no justification in asking my husband to leave without question. A paying customer who has never been a problem and never would be. If you employ bands with members who have anger issues and use the venues to display them, then you should be more careful and mindful of this. The issue is purely with the people paid by the venue, rather than the patrons who enjoy their local pub. The commercial got it wrong on this occasion and unfortunately drove away a paying customer, who will relay their unwelcomeness to family and friends who also visit the venue often. It doesn’t look good.

Not from the area,but called in as a pit stop to another venue, found the pub to be very clean,well stocked,lovely atmosphere very friendly staff would recommend.
Been a couple of times now with my father in law, can't get far as he is in his wheelchair. They don't serve food but are more than happy for us to take it in and also offer plates etc. Nothing is to much for them even other customers got in and helped move ramps for us. I have to say only a couple of visits in but great people is all you can ask for
Nice local good Hyde's beer friendly staff. Went for a music night young band called the cards enthusiastically recieved by an ageing audience remeniscing about their first motorhead gigs. A pub worth patronising.
