Saturday afternoon- about 15 min to have someone over to take an order , further 30 min to receive drinks and further 15 to receive food. If you dont mind waiting for ages then you can come over as waiting staff is polite and attentive, but due to being short of staff / not well organised or managed ?waiting time is pretty bad .Steak was very tasty , vegan burger was ok ( not filling , not big enough of a portion for dinner) but nice there is even a vegan option . Cocktails are good enough . Nice interior but bit cold

Can't comment on rooms, never stayed. I've been a number of times over the years but recently there seems to be a staffing issue. We ate in there a few weeks ago and food took ages, the food was decent but overpriced for what it was. Bar staff kept commenting on this one needs trained etc, returned again for drinks service was slow again although the place wasn't that busy. My prosecco was poured into a measuring cup never ever seen this in my life 😳 so the fizz is reduced by the time it's in your glass. Again still seems to be staffing issues, lack of training and not enough of them who's knows but won't be back any time soon the atmosphere was awkward and flat. Shame

I stayed for just 2 nights. The room exceeded my expectations, it was immaculate and equipped with everything a person could need for a short stay. Bathroom was also very big and spacious. The staff at the bar/restaurant and checkout were also really friendly. There is a nightclub nearby but it didn't bother me in the room I was staying.

Went here for my Anniversary dinner. Football was on but it wasn’t too loud or distracting. Staff were great and helpful, checked on us just enough without it being intrusive. Food was lovely. We had Haggis Bon Bons for starter as well as some chicken in a sauce (can’t remember the name for it!) which tasted amazing. For mains I had a curry and my wife had the Cajun chicken. Both meals were fantastic and the desserts were lovely! Would definitely go again!

Visited the commercial today at table 7. With wife, son and two grand children. Enjoyed food service and a few drinks.exceptional service from all staff but especially from Elaine, whom made exceptional cocktails for my wife with exceptional recommendations from the menu. Her pleasant service was fantastic and would be returning In the near future. Would like to commandate Elaine for a very pleasant experience. Food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. Good afternoon hadby all, thanks.
