Enjoyed a delicious ‘Christmas’ lunch with work colleagues today. The food was delicious with generous portions (the size of their Yorkshire Puds have to be seen to be believed 😲). I think it’s fair to say we would definitely dine here again.
Thank you very much to The Cockhaven Arms for going above and beyond with their hospitality. Whilst we were there our daughter became poorly and ended up in hospital. We were so well cared for by the Cockhaven Arms making us sandwiches, plating up meals after serving hours, ensuring our dog was well looked after and letting us have our room for an afternoon nap after a night in A and E. We could not have wished for more. The food is delicious. They have a separate large room for private functions which was great for our family get together with 2 dogs and 6 children. I would recommend you to anyone.
Absolutely great place to visit. Whether you eat or drink the reception you get from the staff is beyond belief. They don't treat you as a customer but more as a friend. Great choice of ales & wines & the food is exceptional. Don't take my word give it a go you won't be dissapointed
We hadn't visited for many years but decided to call in for lunch. The changes made by the new owners to the rooms and decor are quite different and definitely an upgrade. As well as the main menu there is a £8 set price lunch from which we chose, I had the scampi and my wife the seared salmon. Both were of adequate size and very good. Two local real ales were available. Service was excellent. We will definitely return.
This place was awesome. We stayed 2 nights last week. The value for money is amazing, food,drink and service was just a credit to everyone who worked there. This is a brilliant chain of eateries and will certainly return when down that way again.
