We were looked after well from the service point of view but the food was not of the same standard. Not all ingredients mentioned in Tapas dishes & some odd choices.
Popped in with friends after a long, hit walk. We just wanted salads and sandwiches- both were generous, delicious and reasonably priced. We all decided we’ll need to come back for dinner some time, the menu looks great.
Popped in on Sunday lunchtime as visiting the area and had some time to kill and the outside of the building looked really interesting. The guy behind the bar was really friendly and chatty, made us feel very welcome and brought our drinks over to the table. We liked the decor and atmosphere and the quirky low ceilings. We looked at the food menu, which looked really good and if we had not already booked afternoon plans, we would have definitely eaten here. Would definitely return and top marks to the Sunday lunchtime barman ✅
Absolutely awful, the pain of somebody playing piano really badly in the area you have reserved for a birthday celebration, whilst the competing music from the speakers is blaring out, and when I complained was spoken to like dirt by the manager, and he then aggressively came and leant over me to unplug the speaker, disgusting would not come near this place, we were part of a group of 14 people, intending to order food but we all left as this place is just awful. Go to the kings up the road much nicer, this place is a dive. No people sitting crossed legs next to people intending to eat in the Kings.
A gem , go and visit if you can! The food is really amazing , their truffle chips are truly special.
