NO FOOD! You'd think after years of not serving food someone would correct the website. Staff were OK, but beer average and locals pretty passive aggressive. Avoid.

A lovely pub with a friendly, but country feel. I've always been made to feel welcome and the outside seating area is really well kept and very inviting!
We stayed at this lovely location in our Campervan for 1 night. We found it in Motorhome Stop over app. Although the services offered were not available. Elec hook up etc and no home cooked meals. The Landlady was lovely. Very accommodating and the alcohol was good too. There was no problem for food the co-op was opposite the pub and we used the Chinese Takeaway a few doors down.We Will Be back.....
Context = walked a few miles there along the Greensands Ridge Walk in Sep-2020. Pros = Very traditional feeling pub = lots of wood and low ceilings. Friendly staff. Well set up for social distancing. Large beer garden. Clean toilets. Cons = had hoped to get food but none being served. Had emailed in advance to ask but didn't get a response. However, we were allowed to run to the supermarket opposite and bring in our own sandwiches.
