Amazing place. Great service & great food. Even had Nintendos on the tables to play… lovely quirky place
Don't come here often, but when we do it doesn't disappoint! I recently had the mac and cheese burger and it was fantastic, and some loaded fries. (You do have to order fries separately, but honestly that's up to you, the burgers are very generously sized). We came again for wing night, and had unlimited wings for a very decent price. The beer and cider on tap is good (I love Aspall), and the place has a great atmosphere. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but that's not their fault, Stourbirdge high street is just like that. Will definitely be returning.
Gutted that CnB used to boast the best wings in the area, but have swapped the amazing triple wings for basic tiny wetherspoons style. Real shame as it was one of my fave places to eat for the last 5 years is now such a disappointment. Edit: thanks for the reply. As you can see from the images, there is a significant difference between the old and new wings. As someone who's won a few hot wing challenges with your previous servings, the change is quite disheartening. The original wings were not only a personal favorite but also a unique offering. Could you please consider bringing them back? Many of us truly miss what made your place special.
On one hand a town center pub that shows it's signs of wear. On the other - decent American burgers and fried chicken meals at a reasonable price. For me more craft beers would be great. But for a Saturday light lunch we really enjoyed the chicken tacos with Mac and cheese.
Although we waited a long time, we appreciate that they have had a massive party upstairs and they were working very hard to try and control this. The young lady who dealt with us was very professional and made things right for the long wait. These things happen. The food then came out and we were not disappointed by the quality and taste of the food. Who would of thought butterscotch chicken wings would work so well! Very impressive. There was so much that we had to take the rest with us. Thank you
