About us
Set in the picturesque village of Luddesdowne, between Meopham and Cobham, The Cock Inn is an award winning traditional English Pub dating back to 1713. Under the ownership of Andrew Turner F.B.I.I. since 1984, aided by his wife Denise and son Adnam, the pub and its staff have a reputation for quality real ales, traditional pub fare and exceptionally high standards. We have recently been award the CAMRA Pub of the Year 2015 award for the Gravesend & Darent Valley.
Open all day, every day from 12noon, The Cock Inn features a classic two bar setup, with wood burning stoves, exposed beams, and no music, children, or fruit machines, to create an ambience that takes you back in time. We always have at least seven cask conditioned English Ales on at any one time, as well as a range of authentic German Biers and a wide selection of Whisky.
We also offer a simple food menu every day, and a filling daily special, from 12noon-3pm, and again from 5pm-8pm, as well as hot Cornish Pasties and Sausage Rolls available throughout opening hours.
For smokers we have a fully heated undercover smoking area in our rear garden, for your convenience.
PLEASE NOTE: We are an adults only pub - Strictly Over 18s Only - children are not allowed in the pub or garden.
