Good food, great service and a very nice historic pub
Great menu, great food, phenomenal beer. Had the venison stew and I left happy. The beers were a bonus.
Went for a couple of drinks and decided to have lunch there just ordered fish and chips and a pint of cider which came to just under £25 which I thought was extremely expensive for 1 person. However I believe if it's good no worries unfortunately it was terrible very basic and such a small fish I was extremely disappointed frozen chips and peas like bullets. When I said to the waiter £25 for that is terribly poor to the response I know it's the same everywhere in Jersey. Can't fault the location or the beer but certainly don't recommend the food and certainly will not go again another who just rip-off tourists.
Good quaint pub, small on the inside, but has seating upstairs and a very large covered seating outside. Toilets are upstairs. Good service with excellent food. Lasagna. They have meals for 2 with selected drinks for £20.00.
A very busy place but the efficient friendly staff have everything running smoothly. Good beers, excellent food and a nice environment. So nice we visited a couple of time during our short visit to Jersey.
