Lovely, local country pub that we walked to on Sunday whilst staying in a local hotel. On arrival, service was warm and friendly, and remained equally as pleasant throughout. Food was fantastic - we both had roast pork, which was well seasoned and cooked well. All accompaniments were also very tasty. Would love to know how to roast carrots that well! Even though we were full from the generous portions, we opted f for dessert. I had the crumble and it was so big I couldn't finish it, but wish I could, as it was so tasty! Would definitely revisit if we were in the area in future.
Early dinner with friends. Fab food and hot. The game and beef pie was amazing. Lovely place, staff friendly. Will definitely go back.
Wonderful pub with a really good menu. We all enjoyed our food, the staff were great and were in no rush for us to leave even at 11pm. We left saying why don’t we come here more often.
Booked a table online and received an acknowledgement. When we arrived, we were welcomed by the landlord who was already expecting us. The welcome was warm and courteous. Drinks, menus, ordering and food all arrived in a timely manner. The food was hot, plentyfull and very tasty. We had a great experience and I'm sure we will be back again.
Just had a lovely steak meal here, very tasty, well presented and without too long a wait. The desserts were great too, the staff were very welcoming, we were on holiday in the area and would highly recommend a visit
