We have just come back from a lovely stay at the hotel. Yvonne was very welcoming and we enjoyed chatting to her at the bar, you can tell she works super hard and puts a lot of effort to ensuring your stay is lovely there is a lot of thought out into everything great selection of teas and coffee in the rooms. Lovely quiet area and a lovely little garden at the back with blankets for the colder weather. Shame about the weather but loved our stay.

Stayed here whilst walking the monachs way. Friendly welcome and lovely home cooked food, including homemade bread, pies and jam. Lovely room with walk in shower. Highly recommend

Rooms were clean and looked like newly decorated, toilet fan was the loudest thing I've head. The bar area has a wood burning stove however you will leave smelling of smoke as the stove of flue let's lots of it escape ( not like other places I've been to with a similar set up) hope they get it fixed, drinks are a little limited but if they know what you like it will probably be there next time. Full English breakfast was OK. The have a range of cereals pluss tea and coffee to get yourself very handy if you like more the an one cup. Lots of parking area as it was originally a pub, owner very friendly.

First impressions were a bit of a lazy attitude to cleanliness…. The lady who greeted us was pleasant but both the owners needed a little more attention to their presentation.. The room was clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits. The overall exterior of the building needed a good clean up… breakfast wasn’t the best, Heinz ketchup bottle refilled with a much cheaper option.. sorry, wouldn’t recommend…
