I can't speak highly enough about this fantastic hotel. Its a 3 star hotel that specialises in fantastic food with a laid back friendly atmosphere. You feel like you have been welcomed into their house and the owners are focused on making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. At meal time don't look at the menu just go with the chef's recommendations which are always substantial tasty meals and the deserts complete a great dining experience. Also the full Scottish breakfast will keep you going all day. We will definitely go back and stay longer. We did a little site seeing and wished we stayed longer to properly explore the area.
The warmest welcome you could imagine - nothing was too much bother despite our late arrival. Food was delicious and properly home made. Reasonably priced wine list that had a lot of thought put into it. Room was comfortable and big enough. There’s clearly some investment to be made that will come over time but this is a total gem
A comfy hotel in a quiet, scenic location. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious. Would like to come again if we get the chance.
Quiet rural setting. A converted office building for the local castle gives this hotel a sense of place and history. Fantastically friendly and helpful staff. Great food. Such a great place for a get away or base to explore the area. Easy parking behind the building, perfect for our motorcycle. We'd love to come back again.
Great location. Beautiful setting. Quite. Pet friendly. Great service. Lots if cool adornments and rich texture. The kids will enjoy it. The owners ate what bring this country hotel to life. The fish and chips looked amazing, try to steak if you have anchance.
