I have 5 starred this for my one and only visit to the venue. They had a Still Game theme and all staff had dressed as Jack, Victor, Isa, Navid and more. The place was very busy, very noisy. The back of the bar had a large disco area with Navid as DJ. There was a hen party dancing away. Not my kinda place but the atmosphere was great.

Well this was an odd place. I stopped in while Sam did some shopping along Clyde Street. The barmaid was on the phone the entire time. She seemed a bit put off having to serve me. When Sam came in I stood at the bar waiting to get served by the same on the phone barmaid. Locals giving us some not so pleasant looks. Very rude. Worst pub experience on this 2 week trip to Scotland.
The bar is nice enough with pleasant staff. It serves the usual type beverages to be expected in Scotland. It has pool tables at the back for those who like a game of that! Problem was that the locals always want to engage in conversation, but into yours and quiz you for your life story. It’s off putting.
Traditional pub beside the Clyde estuary at Helensburgh. A large venue behind the bar and a very pleasant beer garden at the rear. A good selection of draught beers, worth a visit.
