About us

he Clarendon Arms is a truly delightful pub.

From the moment that you step inside the door you will sense the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

But, of course, there are two other hugely important ingredients that define a fine pub - the ales and the food.

The Clarendon serves a choice of traditional hand pulled ales kept in top condition. We are currently serving ales from two local breweries - The Purity Brewing Company and micro brewery The Slaughter House Brewery - as well as ales from The Hook Norton Brewery. And, of course, we serve a wide range of the most popular keg beers and lagers. If your taste is for something a little more delicate then we have an excellent wine list and a wide selection of ‘designer’ beers and ciders.

Clarendon Arms

The food at The Clarendon Arms is very, very special.

Whether you‘ve got an appetite big enough for the Mixed Grill or our Classic Fish and Chips or if you just fancy a light bite like a Caesar Salad or Home Made Soup with a baguette (you choose the filling), you’ll find quality as good as in any top restaurant - but at an affordable pub price.

How? Because executive chef Ryan New learned his skills in two of London‘s top restaurants (Langan’s and Coq D‘Or) and he and his team use the finest ingredients sourced, where possible, from local suppliers. Ryan and his team then prepare and serve them with loving care. Just look through the menu. It’s mouthwatering.

And the real treat is that you can enjoy these delights in such a warm and relaxed environment.

The Clarendon Arms also has a private room, which holds up to 55 people seated, so you can hold your own special private party. During the week, it is a perfect venue for corporate meeting with lunch.

Situated opposite Kenilworth Castle, The Clarendon Arms is ideally located for visitors to this historic monument.

So if you're in the vicinity and you have a thirst for fine ale or a taste for great food then pop in to The Clarendon Arms - and bring your family too, they will be more than welcome.

We look forward to seeing you.

Been several times over the last few months and it is easily one of the best places to eat in Kenilworth. Been for sunday lunch several times (their veggie roast is one of the best I have ever had!) And for normal food and it never disappoints. All the staff are so friendly, great at what they do and make you feel really well cared for and welcome. The price is such incredible value and portion sizes are generous. Never had a bad meal there and doubt I ever will. Thank you for all you do! If you're thinking about going, definitely do, its just the best! Hats off to the landlord and landlady for running an incredible pub!

The girl that served us was wonderful and attentive and catered for all our needs and what makes it better is that she was full of smiles. Well done we will be back when we are next over. Kind regards steve & emma

Came for an early dinner on a Saturday, very quiet which was surprising. Food reasonably priced, decent portions. Dog friendly.

We visited this afternoon after a trip to the castle. It was mere two minute walk away and we were not disappointed. Freshly cooked food and amazing service from Richard! The portion sizes were good and it was good value for money. We will definitely be back!

Went for a family meal, having been recommended by locals. We were not disappointed. Car parking is £2.50, but that is the only drawback. Quality food, good menu, great staff, and at a reasonable price. Standards and cleanliness are good and can highly recommend. I will be back when next in Town.
