This is a comfortable locals' pub, and is a rare example of a pub that retains a two-room format. The doors to the room on the corner lead you into what was originally a snug, but which has now been incorporated into what used to be the Public Bar.
This room is carpeted, contains a pool table, and has some interesting decor including stuffed fish in glass cases. The other room, which used to be the Saloon Bar, can only be reached via separate doors from the side street (or through the door leading to the gents!). This room is only used when the pub gets busy, and is bare-boarded.

A superb locals pub. The Clarence welcomes everyone. Good band of locals having fun. Not a real ale pub but fun nevertheless. I enjoyed my pint!!
The Clarence Pub is a sports bar, one large bar area with horseshoe shaped bar with wooden floors and large TV on few walls and Chelsea shirts. The Lady serving was very nice, welcoming and friendly. Spoke to couple of locals who were also up to a chat. The price were very reasonable, pint of John Smith, two large wines and packet of chrisp only £16. Only do bottle of Processo at £20 No real ale but full range of drinks.
I had my daughters christening here. It was a beautiful place to have it. Staff are amazing. Regular guests were all so nice. Honestly everyone who attending told me how lovely this place is. Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable aswell
My partner Graham was in before and after the Chelsea v Luton game he said the bar staff were very friendly and punters good fun. Great pub for pre match atmosphere. He will be back
Chelsea pub. We went for a dance on Saturday night. Good location. Cheap drinks.
