Friendly staff serving great food and real ales in front of a cosy fire. We had the fish & chips and steak & ale pie. Would recommend both and will certainly be returning.
The Clachnaharry embodies everything a good pub should. Warm and friendly, great choice of ales & lagers including my favourite Peroni. Comfortable seating and nice garden area overlooking the estuary. Highly recommended!
Good food in a cute, dog friendly bar. Bar staff were second to none and felt very looked after. My dog got plenty of fusses and treats. She also recommends this place. A couple of veggie options. Bean burger was a shout. Portion sizes are on the large side, at least for me. I'm definitely not complaining Look forward to going back.
We came for Sunday Roast and it was delightful. We ate on the bar, the drinks were great, the food was great, the sticky Toffee Pudding in particular was incredible.
A very popular pub with the locals (and in a lot of cases their dogs - all well behaved) and some nice beers and whisky at reasonable prices. Atmosphere great in the bar and a nice view from the garden. Hidden behind the bar is a nice restaurant area and some tables benefit from the view. I liked the etching on the door, the traditional napkins and seating booths. A nice menu with a number of choices so it was hard to make a decision. The waitress was not aware of the provenance of the food or what they had in stock. The service was very slow, taking a long time to clear the plates between courses. We waited so long for a dessert order to be taken that we decided against ordering dessert. It started to get busy in the restaurant but even so with four people serving it was a disappointing experience service wise.
