Good food but getting a bit board of the same old thing menu needs changing now folks on both the main and the deserts. Wine very pricey 37 for a bottle bit steep when you are dining out a meal for 4 including drinks cost 250. Can't afford that too often I know the cost of living but that's taking the piss.
Lovely meal in a family friendly pub. Recommend booking as we hadn't but they were good enough to squeeze us in.
Had Sunday dinner. Superb old country pub. Great food at a fair price. Sorry no experience of rooms. Nice helpful staff. Dog friendly.
Absolutely outstanding place!!! 😊 We'd been at a festival all week and were just passing through the village but with zero notice they managed to fit me and the dog in even though they were fully booked. It was one of the best roast beef dinners I've ever had! Top notch highly recommended! 😊👌🏼
As tourists in the area we called on the off chance we could get a meal. They were very busy but accommodated us. It is a lovely old pub, complimented by excellent drinks, food & service & highly recommended
