We offer a superb and varied selection of 14 cask ales sourced from micro-breweries far and wide, plus we now have 6 permanent craft kegs, which are ever changing and there is always a real farmhouse cider on hand pull too. As well as the excellent cask ales, we also have quality German lagers and English cider.
We have an extensive and regularly updated range of bottled beers from Belgium, Germany and the USA, and some English ciders. These range from well known quality brands to obscure craft breweries producing fantastic ales, and there are some real gems to be found through working your way through our fridges!
The Magnet which has now been open for 7 years, is a large, friendly multi-roomed pub with ample seating space and a warm and cosy atmosphere. There is also an extensive beer garden to the rear, including two elevated terrace which catch the sunshine well into those warm summer evenings, while the outdoor heated area provides comfort in times of more typical Manchester weather!.

Probably one of my favourite pubs in Stockport. They always have a great beer selection and, even though its always busy, service is fast and quality. The pizza gaff that serves food is quality and top notch. I can honestly say I've never had a bad night here. It's a great meet up place for any groups as it is always so welcoming.
Taken here by my son. I've only lived with an SK post code for 40 years. Why have I not been before? Magnificent selection of real ales, of which I will have start on, prior to, or after County games. Highly recommended.
It’s a pub that sources many of its beers from micro-breweries (and is itself a micropub) — so don’t expect many (if any) of your staple drinks on draught… but if you go there with an open mind, then you won’t be disappointed
This is an amazing pub, the beers are kept and served to perfection, the pizzas are excellent and the atmospheres is brilliant, Lesley,Lee and the staff do an amazing job, keep up the great work.
Great pub featuring a big variety of small breweries' real and craft beers. Several bars providing different atmospheres and social environments. Exterior decking area and weekend pizza kitchen. Upstairs lounge and TV area opened at manager's discretion.
