The Bakers Vaults is a beer shrine with 10 hand pulls and is renowned in the area for its live music in the evenings and being part of the music circuit.

Standard pub, always a good spot for a drink but due it being foody Friday some odd rules in place. No glasses for wine only plastic cups. The bartender wouldn't give me a tray to carry a round of shots so I have to walk back and forth 4 times. Someone could have done anything to the shots whilst I did this. Not a great idea for female safety in these modern times.
Iv not been in here for years but recently I attended a small wedding reception at the bar. The landlord (I think) was so helpful. I'm 9 months pregnant, so I was slightly nervous sitting in a bar but he came over checking on me, making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. He joked that if I gave birth in there the champagne would be on him as long as he could get a selfie. He really helped make me feel relaxed. The food was excellent and all the staff were excellent.
Our Chihuahua Poncho approves Bakers Vaults. What a pleasant surprise, burger was well worth its price, great team serving, clean pub. Had a good time, will go back.
It was early doors on a Saturday night about 6.30pm so not sure how it would be later but it was busy when we arrived and then thinned out when we left at 8pm. Great decor, comfy seats and good styling. Drinks were a good price and the bar staff were super friendly.
A pub with the same name despite several iterations over the years. Once had a top chef and great food (1990 ish) and in about 2011 we saw our son play bass guitar for his heavy metal band Black Moon Rising. On the site of Stockport's Norman Castle. Been many times. Currently great real ale venue for Robbie's and a guest ale or two. Jorvic chose the winter special really strong 8%+ Old Tom. Back in the 70's only sold in special 1/3 pint. Like Fowler's Treacle. Half enough today.Great location on the market
