A true community town local with table skittles, crib, pool and darts teams. Built in the 1820's by William Okell who owned an inn in the centre of Macclesfield which boasted a small brewery, possibly the source of this pub's name. Guest beer is usually from Storm. Sports fans have BT and Sky sports. Quiz every other Sunday.

Great pub. Really taken on board what customers want and their safety. Dave runs a great ship of staff and highly recommend tropical shots!!
Average back street boozer complete with scruffy looking landlord and bar staff drinking shots all night with customers. No thanks, I’ll walk up to the Park Tavern. Edit in response to owner. It was in October pal.
Very welcoming, played pool against there team tonight and ended up bringing my lil pup, as soon as I walked in the landlord appeared with a bowl of water and a doggy treat so very doggy friendly xx
