Went here last weekend. No life, apart from a few underaged drinkers, that I knew personally. Really needs a kick in another direction. Bar staff very miserable. I also couldn’t help but notice there are cameras in the toilets. Won’t be returning and advise anyone else from visiting too.
Just didnt feel right being there. Felt like i'd barged in on a family meal. Dinning room tables for drinks tables. Not my type of place
Lively and popular pub that has great music of evening, drinking are cheep and some good deals on bottles and shots friendly atmosphere with a brilliant team running the venue
Got any cask on? - no we've run out. I'll have a lager shandy? - we have run out of lemonade. can I get a white wine? we've run out of wine. finally bought 2 drinks.. I got £8.50 in 50p's... we've run out of change! Travelled an hour to watch the band. at the interval the bar man told them to pack up and leave because some of the regulars wanted the juke box on to sing along. The 1 star is for the beleaguered girl behind the bar doing all the work. (I PAID FOR ALL MY OWN DRINKS)
Nice clean place cheap beer £2 for Carlsberg and a strong all so smooth and pedigree cast

since the new managment has taken over we have spent alot of time getting the cellar running properly . we now have some great real ales worth trying ...
