It was good at first service is excellent although they give you little to no time to choose a drink I had just sat down with my family and the waiters had already asked what we would like to drink. Mains and starters exceptional but puddings on the other hand I had the churros looked alright and the churros themselves tasted fine but the ice cream was stretchy and chewy hand the toffee sauce was cold. Kid and dog friendly place. The overall rating will be a 3 as the desserts were not it.

Enjoyed lunch with family. Table near the fireplace was so cute. Service was very good.. attentive staff ensured our meal was very enjoyable. Food served was just lovely and a good selection. Good choice of wine on the menu.. will be booking again. 😁

We had a lovely time here last Saturday night for our Christmas meal. Tasty, hot food and excellent service. Try the mince pie cheesecake- delicious. The pub was beautifully decorated for Christmas too, and the ambience was lovely. We'll be back in the New Year! Thank you for a lovely time.

A lovely spacious dining area with comfortable chairs and large tables. Chatty, friendly staff. A good pint of Unicorn and lovely food. I had the goat cheese tart and my brother had the steak and ale pie, both were excellent. I finished off with the salted caramel cheesecake which was as good as the famous Pecks of Congleton. Also they allow well behaved dogs in most of the pub. I highly recommend this pub and we will be visiting again soon 😀.

We booked a table here for my mums birthday. When we arrived we were the only ones in the restaurant, it was early on a weekday evening. I only mention this because the guy who initially served us made no effort to be nice to our table. Despite it being my mums birthday and it wasn’t busy at all so he had the time. Based on this encounter we were planning to have dinner and enjoy dessert at home instead unlikely to return but then there was a shift change and in walked Shane and Adam 😊 just the complete opposite of the guy who had been serving us. They were both friendly, welcoming and engaging. They made the rest of the birthday meal such a joy. Honestly these two guys are a credit to this place. Had it not been for their amazing hospitality I would not have returned after the first part of our meal but they turned it around and we left with lovely memories and good vibes. The decor here is lovely, the food is delicious and the service thanks to Adam and Shane was fantastic. I am a local so will return to give this place another try and just hope these two fab guys will be looking after us. Thank you to both of you for making my mums birthday meal special.
