Don't miss this gem! Especially if you're a dog lover. Called for a meal, food was wonderful, the staff are absolutely fabulous, and the dogs we met were all adorable. Will definitely be calling again for a meal and to make use of the private dog field. 10/10
Went here for Christmas Lunch. The portions were excellent and the food was very good value for the price and well cooked and presented. A really great pub and well maintained.
Absolute gem of a place. Very much a last minute find today. Staff wonderful, food great, prices really good. Even leaving to a puncture, and a gentleman stopping to see if I needed a hand, made my day. Would actually give it 6 stars if I could.
We called today without booking for lunch after visiting a couple of months ago. The service was again excellent and the food likewise. Congratulations to the current owners who have revitalised it from a few years ago. Very enjoyable visit and we also spoke to another couple who came from outside the area who were very impressed.
Spent two great nights here. The staff and owners are very friendly, we had lunch and dinner at the restaurant which the food is top class. The menu has a great selection of British and Italian dishes. The room is warm and cozy with a super king bed. The soundproofing is good, we didn't hear noise from the pub or other guests. Highly recommended!!
