A friendly and traditional country pub serving good and reasonably priced food and a decent pint.
Miles cheaper than anywhere else. Good classic pub food. Had small issue with mixed up order but rectified quickly and free drinks to make up for it. Crème brûlée top could do with perfecting 😂 but I’d say it’s a bit fancy anyway for a pub and cream bit was still amazing. Service and hospitality impeccabl thank you!!
Absolutely lovely village pub, great place with amazing staff, so friendly. The food was gorgeous proper pub grub, they let dogs in too which is a bonus.
Sitting outside in their shaded 'couched area' was relaxing and the drinks cool and refreshing. Their cheese & mac dish with garlic bread was delicious as were the choice of sandwiches with side-salad, crisps or mini wire baskets of yummy chips! 👌😋
Great place, good food, excellent staff /atmosphere and good value for money. My wife and I are here visiting friends and they are regular customers. So they suggested that we come here, I'm glad, they did. It was well worth the visit, and we will definitely be back in the future.
